Association Growth & Management

Associations face a particular kind of growth challenge. Every new chapter, board, and sponsor adds value, and every one also adds work for a national office that is often small and already stretched.
I help associations build the structure, systems, and leadership that let growth last.
My current work includes serving as the liaison between the national office of the Latin American Association of Insurance Agencies (LAAIA) and its growing network of chapters. In that role I help launch new chapters, prepare new boards for their first year, and lead the association's strategic planning.
How I help:
-
Chapter development: a repeatable process for forming new chapters, from founding task force to chartered board.
-
National and chapter alignment: clear roles, responsibilities, and communication between the national office and its chapters.
-
Board formation and onboarding: planning sessions, orientation, and governance tools that help new boards start strong.
-
Leadership training: practical training for board members, chapter leaders, and volunteers on governance, budgeting, events, and sponsorship.
-
Sponsorship programs: sponsorship packages, outreach procedures, and stewardship systems at the national and chapter levels.
-
Operations and governance: manuals, playbooks, policies, and nominations and succession processes that keep the organization running as leaders change.
-
Strategic planning and capacity: plans that match growth to staffing, funding, and the support chapters actually need.
