As Holtz Children’s Hospital grew, it became apparent that a widespread community effort was needed to support expansion and renovation of the hospital. Rolando Rodriguez led his staff and a dedicated group of board members to recruit a cadre of dedicated women, and launched an exciting new group of involved donors and volunteer supporters. Started in 1997 with only five dedicated women, the Guardian Angels now number in the hundreds, composed of dedicated supporters who give and raise money through private events and generous annual donations.
